If you haven't heard of Louisville startup Anchal Project, I couldn't recommend a trip to their website more. They're a social enterprise dedicated to eradicating poverty among marginalized women through sustainable, self-sufficient careers in eco-friendly textile production. Beautiful pieces, real and inspiring impact! Over the summer of 2016, I worked as Graphic Design intern alongside the Creative Director to create branded marketing materials for online and print presence. I jumped in on projects from product photography, to auditing and fixing their website, to email-marketing, even to designing giant banners and rubber stamps. I'm consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to work alongside such an incredible staff on projects that were truly positive and impactful! You can read Anchal's post about the internship here.
All pieces in the slider above were designed by me based on Anchal's established brand and with direction from Creative Director Maggie Clines. I learned so much from being so integrated in the whole process, from sketching, to coordinating with printers, to getting to see my work sent all over the county!
